This refurbishment and redevelopment of the 901 Main Street property has been designed to complement the valuable heritage qualitites of the former BC Electric Railway Men’s Quarters. The new portion of the building consist of 8 floors of primarily residential development with retail and car parking on the ground floor. This new development presents itself with a clean and simple modernist expression in contrast to the BC Electric Railway Men’s Quarters so as to clearly differentiate and emphasise the building’s significant heritage qualities.
